What is PRP?

Platelet-Rich Plasma for Selected Hair & Skin Goals

PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma. We draw a small sample of your blood and use a centrifuge to concentrate its platelet-rich portion. The preparation may be used for selected hair or skin goals after we assess the condition being treated.

  • Prepare the treatment from your own blood.
  • Use a diagnosis-based plan for scalp or skin concerns.
  • Assess the response over a series when appropriate.

What does it treat?

  • Selected types of hair thinning
  • Individualized skin-quality goals
  • A possible addition to a broader treatment plan
